The LIO has been on a mission to discover the Ultimate Beethoven Symphony and introduce you to some of the nation's favourite movements.

 

It’s the IKEA school of composition: Beethoven provides the parts, you provide the structure.

 

The nation has now chosen their favourite 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th movement from all of Beethoven’s 9 symphonies to build their Ultimate Beethoven Symphony.

The full result will be performed in a special concert on Wednesday 19th of September at St John’s Church, Waterloo – London.
