"It's hard to do anything original with Beethoven..... but you've managed it!"
- John Suchet, Classic FM (Ultimate Beethoven Symphony)
NEXT CONCERT
Join us on the 6th June at St Gabriel's Church in London for an evening of fantastic music.
Experience the brilliance of Dvorak's legendary 'New World' Symphony and the lively rhythms and playful melodies of Rossini's 'Barber of Seville' overture. We will also have a solo 'showcase' performance by a member of the orchestra.
Delve deeper into the heart of the music with our conductor, Alexander Conway, as he unveils the secrets and inspirations behind the scores. Discover the stories behind these masterpieces and gain new insights into the minds of their composers.
And what's an LIO concert without refreshments? As usual, everyone can enjoy a drink at our bar while they discuss the performance with friends.
We believe that classical music is for everyone. Our concerts are designed to be accessible, enjoyable, and inclusive, welcoming audiences of all backgrounds and ages. Whoever you are, we hope you'll find something to love at our concerts.
"The LIO gave the evening the energy of a comedy-set mixed with a live gig and a dash of a history lesson thrown in." - Ultimate Beethoven Symphony.
All profits go to Mind UK.
